Welcome to Hearts for Kids, a website which is dedicated to finding sponsors for children who are in need across the globe. So many children are born into poverty and adverse living conditions. They are in need of the friendship, support, and help that we can give. Won't you take the time to open your heart and help one of these children have a chance for a brighter future?

The seeds that you plant can have a lasting effect in one child's life and then grow to touch countless other lives.

Aura's House is a website dedicated to improving the lives of children who are sponsored through Children International. Although Aura's House is new, many children have been helped through the small projects and other efforts being made to raise funds. Donors can donate as much as one dollar to other amounts to help other donors work together to build houses, schools, furnish beds and other supplies for the children. Bethany is a special Christian orphanage located in East Tanzania. The children are thriving and growing in many ways. Sponsors can sponsor more than one child and can co-sponsor a child for as little as $10/month in US dollars. Sponsors may correspond with the child and receive updates on their sponsored child's progress. The Bethany Project has a wonderful website filled with news and photos of the Home.

Yiseth is a little girl, from Colombia that I started sponsoring through Children International in the summer of 2005. When I first started sponsoring her, her family had to use an open field for sanitary purposes. Now improvements have been made so that they no longer have to use an open field. Here she is with my first letter and a small gift. The love that you can give to a child can make a difference.

Ashido lives in Zambia with his mother and sister. His mother is unemployed and his family income is $20/month. Ashido has been having to sleep on the floor with his parents and baby brother. Despite his poor living enviroment, Ashido is receiving good reports through regular medical checkups and other assitance provided through sponsorship with Children International.

Ashido's family andthe family of another child from Zambia have been featured on Aura's House to help raise funds for beds and other household supplies. Their project has been completed and I am happy to report that $750 has been raised for the families! Thank you to everyone who contributed :)
